Material Handler

Job Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, sorting, processing, and handling non-ferrous materials while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. This role also assists with inventory, customer service, and daily yard operations.
Job Duties
- Receive, inspect, sort, and process non-ferrous materials.
- Complete daily safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Assist customers and communicate with the office and ferrous yard regarding customer movement.
- Complete monthly and physical inventory counts and accurately enter material receipts into the company's system.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Pay
$ 17.00per hour
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Overtime may be available based on business needs.
Experience & Skill Requirements
- At least 1 year of material handling, warehouse, manufacturing, recycling, or industrial experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately identify and sort materials.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, twist, and perform physical work throughout an entire shift.
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
