The role involves working with private equity sponsors and investors in structuring, forming, and operating private investment funds, and addressing legal, regulatory, and compliance matters faced by fund sponsors. Responsibilities Engage with private equity sponsors and investors in fund structuring, formation, and operation. Handle legal, regulatory, and compliance matters for fund sponsors. Communicate with partners and clients immediately and professionally. Balance and prioritize multiple assignments, exercising organization and attention to detail. Qualifications 3‑5 years of fund formation experience at a law firm. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of professionalism when engaging high priority clients and investors. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Bachelor of J.D. from an ABA accredited law school. Admitted to the NewYork bar. Benefits Competitive compensation ranges from $235,000 to $455,000 depending on class year.
