Job Description

We are hiring for the position of Pipefitter & Mechanical Assembler.The candidate will be working with gas/fluid handling components such as flow control units, valves, fittings, and tubing. The main function of the job is building gas and fluid delivery systems based on schematic drawings. The candidate is expected to perform his/her job responsibilities with expediency and accuracy and, at times, in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. Once hired, the candidate will be trained to specialize in high-purity fabrication of advanced gas and fluid handling units to be incorporated in our material processing equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Fabrication of high-purity gas/fluid handling systems

· Tube bending, cutting, and facing

· Mount components to stainless steel shelving

· Orbital welding machine operator

· Checking design drawings

· Perform other duties as required

Qualifications and Skills

· High school diploma or equivalent certificate required

· 1+ years of relevant work experience (preferred but not required)

· Skilled with the cutting, fitting and bending of stainless steel tubing

· Skilled in hand and power tool usage

· Ability to read and understand mechanical schematics

· Must be able to work from 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM Monday through Friday

· Occasional overtime may be required

Compensation: $22-$26/hr. DOE
