Jefferson Energy Cooperative is seeking an experienced Manager of Accounting to oversee the organization's accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting support, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. This is an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished accounting manager, finance manager, CPA, or senior accounting professional to join a respected, member-owned electric cooperative dedicated to serving its community.
The Manager of Accounting will provide leadership for the accounting department, ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, prepare and analyze financial statements, oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, support audits, and help maintain compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills while collaborating across departments to support the cooperative's financial objectives.
