LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Infectious Disease MD in Canton, Ohio, 44708!

Infectious Disease physician locums coverage is needed in Ohio for inpatient consults and follow ups, with most shifts on Fri, Sat, and Sun plus occasional full week coverage. Day shift is 7:00am to 5:00pm with overnight call on covered days.

Highlights

• Mostly weekend coverage, with some full week blocks available.
• Inpatient ID consult service, no telemed required.
• Epic EMR.
• Closed ICU.

Practice Setting

• Inpatient Infectious Disease consults and follow ups.
• Typical daily census, 25 to 35 patients.
• Average new consults per day, 6 to 10.
• APP support Monday through Friday, no APP support on weekends.

Schedule

• Day shift, 7:00am to 5:00pm.
• Coverage needs are mostly Fri, Sat, Sun, with a few full week coverages.
• Overnight call required on all covered days, off site from 5:00pm to 7:00am.
• Typical overnight call volume, 0 to 2.

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO.
• Infectious Disease board certified, board eligible accepted if within 5 years.
• Active Ohio medical license required, will not wait for license.
• Vaccination required.
