About the Opportunity
Addison Group is partnering with an innovative professional services organization that helps enterprise clients strengthen cybersecurity, manage risk, and navigate emerging technologies. As the company continues to expand, they are seeking a Business Development Partner to lead strategic growth initiatives by identifying new business opportunities and building lasting executive relationships.
This is an opportunity for an experienced sales professional who excels at opening new doors, engaging C-level decision-makers, and selling complex consulting solutions. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, consultative, and motivated by building long-term partnerships rather than transactional sales.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan focused on acquiring new enterprise clients.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities through networking, referrals, outbound prospecting, and industry events.
- Build relationships with executive stakeholders, including CEOs, CIOs, CISOs, Chief Risk Officers, and other senior leaders.
- Lead discovery conversations to understand business challenges and recommend customized consulting solutions.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and guide opportunities through the full sales cycle.
- Partner with internal consulting teams to develop tailored client solutions and ensure seamless project handoffs.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast using CRM tools.
- Represent the organization at conferences, networking events, and other business development activities.
- Stay informed on industry trends related to cybersecurity, governance, enterprise risk, AI, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 7 years of successful B2B business development or enterprise sales experience.
- At least 5 years selling consulting, advisory, or professional services.
- Proven ability to generate net-new business and develop executive-level relationships.
- Demonstrated success closing complex, high-value enterprise engagements.
- Strong consultative sales approach with exceptional presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience managing opportunities within a CRM platform such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Preferred
- Experience selling cybersecurity, risk management, governance, compliance, AI advisory, or other consulting services.
- Understanding of enterprise security, governance, compliance, or risk management frameworks.
- Familiarity with current cybersecurity and AI trends.
- Relevant industry certifications are a plus.

Compensation: $130,000 - $160,000 + uncapped commission
