About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Investment Accounting to lead and drive the operations for a global portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, statutory, and international standards, and will play a key role in strategic initiatives to enhance investment accounting systems and reporting processes. This leadership position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing in-depth financial analysis, and overseeing technical accounting reviews for investment transactions and emerging asset classes. The VP will also be instrumental in managing the investment sections for annual surveys, year-end SOC report reviews, and will be expected to cultivate a high-performing team that is dedicated to continuous improvement. Applicants for the Vice President of Investment Accounting role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance, with a Master’s degree or CPA preferred. A minimum of 12 years' experience in investment accounting, with 15 years preferred, is required, along with expertise in ASC Topics 320-326 and international GAAP standards. The role demands exceptional communication skills, proficiency in financial reporting systems and technology applications, strong project management abilities, and a proven track record in leading and developing teams.
