About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to play a pivotal role in driving the organization's technology strategy and leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the enterprise technology strategy in alignment with business and product objectives, with a strong focus on M&A activities. This hands-on executive will also be tasked with establishing and maintaining clear technology governance, decision frameworks, and standards, as well as building and mentoring high-performing teams across IT, security, and business platforms. In a SaaS environment, the CIO will ensure operational excellence and reliability, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and lead the company's security program, including cybersecurity risk management and compliance with relevant frameworks. Applicants for the CIO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive IT leadership experience, with a proven track record in a SaaS/cloud-first environment. The role requires deep expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly in Azure, Microsoft 365, identity, and security, and experience in standardizing platforms in hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will have excellent executive communication skills, a strong background in operating in regulated, mission-critical environments, and a demonstrated ability to lead M&A technology integration. Additionally, the CIO will be expected to have experience in enabling a globally distributed workforce and a strong focus on customer trust and stakeholder management.
