Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
This is a first shift opportunity with a large, expanding company!
Hours: 6am-4:00pm Monday through Thursday with opportunity for overtime
Pay: $19.00 per hour to start
Position Summary: The assembler is responsible for measuring and assembling components for industrial structures. This role plays a key part in ensuring customer expectations are met through quality workmanship, on-time completion of orders, and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a proactive safety culture.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build custom structures using hand and power tools
- Utilize measuring tools and cutting equipment.
- Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail while meeting production deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers regarding packaging and shipping needs.
- Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures to support a safe work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications.
- Experience using measuring tools and basic cutting equipment preferred.
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
