Data Center Installation Technician
Location: Fairless Hills, PA (between Philadelphia, PA and Trenton, NJ)
Contract Length: 6 months
Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Data Center Installation Technician to support an data center installation project in Fairless Hills, PA. This is a physical installation and construction-style role, focused on equipment installation, cabling, and infrastructure deployment.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with data center builds, structured cabling, telecommunications, fiber installation, or other hands-on infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data center rack and stack activities
- Install, route, and manage copper and fiber cabling
- Perform cable pulling, dressing, labeling, and termination
- Support structured cabling and telecommunications installations
- Assist with equipment installation and physical infrastructure deployment
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Work in a team-based construction and installation environment
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on installation experience in a physical infrastructure environment
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including cable pulling and equipment installation
- Comfortable working in a data center construction environment
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
- OPT candidates are not eligible for this position
- Must provide own approved work boots:
- Composite-toe leather boots required
- Boots must cover the ankle
- Steel-toe boots are not permitted
Schedule
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Available schedules may include:
- Tuesday–Friday
- Wednesday–Saturday
- Other rotating schedules based on project needs
Candidates must be flexible to work either Saturday or Sunday depending on assignment (one weekend day, not both).
