Staffmark, in partnership with Flextronics, is now hiring a Mechanical Assembler

Location: Dallas, TX

Pay Rate: $19.50 – $20.00 per hour

Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Monday – Friday

It’s time to build your future with a steady career in manufacturing. We’re hiring Mechanical Assemblers to keep production lines running, parts assembled, and orders moving out on time. If you’ve got the focus and drive, this is where you belong.

What You’ll Do

• Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders to assemble components accurately.
• Install, crimp, bolt, solder, and secure electrical and mechanical parts in cabinets, racks, and panels.
• Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure all assemblies meet specifications.
• Set up workstations and verify all materials match the assembly drawing.
• Assist with repairs, maintenance, and process improvements.
• Communicate issues and improvement ideas to leads, supervisors, and engineers.
• Keep your workspace clean, safe, and organized.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6+ months of experience in electronic or mechanical assembly (switchgear experience a plus).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Basic computer and microscope skills for precision assembly.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements

• Manual dexterity for small parts and repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. (up to 50 lbs. for system-level assemblies).
• Work involves sitting, standing, and fine visual inspection (including color recognition).
