Location: Streator, IL

Pay: $20-$23/hr

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 5a-3p | Occasional Saturdays, 5a-11a

Full-time | Potential for Long term hire

Job Overview:

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for a manufacturing company in Streator, IL. This position involves assembling heavy-duty automotive lifts using hand and power tools in a team-oriented production environment. Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with tools, and the ability to read a tape measure accurately.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with backgrounds in mechanics, construction, assembly, or other hands-on trades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble heavy-duty automotive lift components according to specifications and quality standards.
• Use hand tools, power tools, drills, and wrenches to fit, secure, and install parts.
• Read and use tape measure measurements to ensure accurate assembly.
• Work as part of a small team to complete production goals efficiently.
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Previous assembly, automotive, mechanic, construction, or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
