Mechanical Assembler

Location: Corona, CA
Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour (DOE)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Corona, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience using hand and power tools to assemble mechanical components according to blueprints, work instructions, and engineering drawings. Essential Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, drills, wrenches, torque wrenches, rivet guns, and other assembly equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Verify parts and materials before assembly to ensure accuracy.
• Perform quality inspections on completed assemblies to ensure they meet specifications.
• Identify and report defects, shortages, or production issues to the supervisor.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and other production tasks as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and rulers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Frequently lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive hand movements.
• Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
