Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Telecom Low-Voltage Technicians with fiber experience to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial structured cabling experience and be comfortable working on commercial construction and technology infrastructure projects. This position involves extensive structured cabling installation, room build-outs, and the installation and termination of both copper and fiber.
Responsibilities
- Install commercial structured cabling systems
- Perform structured cable pulling and routing
- Complete commercial room build-outs
- Run and terminate copper cabling
- Run and terminate fiber optic cabling
- Install, route, organize, and support low-voltage cabling
- Read and follow plans, drawings, and cable pathways
- Maintain professional workmanship and jobsite safety standards
- Work effectively as part of a commercial telecommunications team
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Low-Voltage Technician, Telecom Technician, or Structured Cabling Technician
- Demonstrated commercial structured cabling experience
- Hands-on experience running and terminating copper and fiber
- Fiber installation and termination experience strongly preferred
- Experience with commercial room build-outs and cable pulling
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
