About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their dynamic team. The COO will be a key partner to the CEO, Executive Management Team, and Board of Directors, responsible for the development and execution of operational strategies that align with the company's growth objectives and long-term vision. This role involves overseeing commercial operations, information technology, marketing, administration, and facilities to ensure operational efficiency, scalability, and alignment with strategic goals. The successful candidate will be expected to drive continuous improvement initiatives, establish KPIs, and foster a high-performance, client-centric culture. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive leadership experience in commercial banking or financial services, with at least 10 years' in senior operational roles. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of banking operations, technology platforms, marketing strategies, and administrative functions, as well as exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and execution skills. Technical knowledge in areas such as banking operations, technology leadership, marketing and brand strategy, facilities and administration management, risk and compliance awareness, financial acumen, and project management is essential. The role also requires the ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence at all levels of the organization, and make data-driven decisions.
