Mechanical EngineerThe Mechanical Engineer will work on the design and development of HVAC systems in a team and individual environment. Will work closely with outside stakeholders while interpreting blueprints and overall implementation of new system.Responsibilities:Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reportsResearch, design, and evaluate systems or processes to meet requirementsConfer with engineers or other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical informationDevelop coordinate, or monitor all aspects of productions, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, or operation of product designsReview technical documents to plan workDesign industrial and commercial processing systemsDesign industrial and commercial equipmentEvaluate characteristics of equipment or systemsConfer with other personnel to resolve design or operational problemsAble to work as an effective team player and independentlyQualifications:Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering or related field10 years of experience in HVAC DesignExperience working on commercial projectsAdvance proficiency in AutoCAD, Trane (700), and Trace load softwareKnowledge of current international building code (NFPA)Proficiency in REVITMerit321 is a woman owned firm that specializes in Information Technology (IT), Cyber Security, Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, and Engineering opportunities.
