Mechanical EngineerFull service firm in the Mid-West looking to bring to their team a Mechanical Engineer! This position has a focus on the Industrial, Power Plant and the refinery and mining markets. The types of projects range from power plants, heavy industrial and assembly/manufacturing facilities.Role/Responsibilities:Responsible for complete design by discipline for projects of all sizes.Plans design work and assigns design duties to staff working on projects.Opportunity for leadership in Corporate Technical Committees.Acts as an advisor and develops the technical competence of less experienced staff.Key role in project reviews for quality control for large complex projects.Opportunity as lead engineer on large complex projects or multiple smaller projects.Provides technical assistance to help resolve field issues. Must be able to visit project sites.Opportunity to serve as Project Manager on large complex projects or multiple smaller projects.Opportunity to identify prospective clients, assist in marketing to develop new clients, and prepares proposals for services.Participates in presentations to clients and interviews for new clients.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.P.E. required Proven Technical or Project Management experience.Please contact Laura Harrison for further details!
