Senior EngineerAlpha Omega is seeking a qualified Senior Engineer. In this role you will serve as the lead technical authority for all Power Platform development (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio) supporting the U.S. Coast Guard Accessions Service Center, and as the main subject matter expert for enterprise architecture design, governance, quality, and protection issues. You will work closely with Business and Functional area leadership and stakeholders to improve the quality and value of core data assets, respond to regulatory protection requirements, and support the strategic requirements of the department.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the lead technical authority for all Power Platform development across the programOwn end-to-end solution architecture, from requirements definition through deploymentEstablish and enforce Power Platform governance frameworks and development best practicesEnsure solutions align with security, scalability, and business-transition requirementsProvide technical direction to journeyman and junior engineers and coordinate with program leadership and Coast Guard stakeholdersRequired Qualifications:Bachelor of Art/Bachelor of Science degree plus ten (10) years of relevant experience OR Master of Art/Master of Science degree plus five (5) years of relevant experience OR an expert-level technical certification (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert) plus eight (8) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degreeA minimum of three (3) years directly supporting government agencies in the design and deployment of enterprise-scale solutions; USCG or DHS preferredU.S. citizenship, and an active DHS Public Trust (HSPD-12 Tier 2) OR the ability to obtain one; must have resided in the United States for three of the last five yearsExperience/Skills:Experience with end-to-end solution architecture; governance frameworks and best practicesExperience with security, scalability, and business-transition alignmentExperience with the following: solution architecture, enterprise app development, technical leadership, systems integrationCertification(s):Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600)Salary and Benefit Information:The likely salary range for this position is $140,000 - $200,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
