Jacuzzi Group, a leading manufacturer of hot tubs, swim spas, baths, showers, saunas, and pool equipment.Jacuzzi Group is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to support the full lifecycle of product development, from concept and design through testing, validation, and production launch. This role will play a critical part in developing and improving bath and sanitary ware products, with a strong focus on fluid flow performance, product reliability, and manufacturability. The Mechanical Engineer will work cross-functionally with engineering, product marketing, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to bring new products to market and ensure existing products meet performance, quality, and cost expectations.Responsibilities and Duties:Research, design, and develop mechanical components and assemblies for bath and sanitary productsUtilize CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred) to create models, drawings, and specificationsApply principles of Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics to optimize product performanceLeverage Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to analyze and improve flow behavior in valves and shower componentsDesign and develop test equipment and fixturesLead product validation efforts, including: Reliability and durability testing, Performance and flow testingEvaluate and validate products sourced from domestic and international suppliersConduct experiments, analyze results, and present findings to leadershipRespond to and resolve internal quality issuesPartner closely with manufacturing and process engineering teams to ensure product readinessSupport new product introduction (NPI), including mold development and production ramp-upTroubleshoot production issues and implement design improvementsApprove designs prior to full-scale productionCreate and maintain engineering documentation and technical drawingsWork closely with Product Management, Purchasing, Suppliers, and Engineering teamsSupport R&D initiatives and explore new technologies and materialsTrain and advise manufacturing personnel on product design and production processesCompensation: $87,000 + based on experience
