Accounting Manager – Internal AccountingThe Accounting Manager – Internal Accounting oversees the day-to-day operations of the company's core accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Billing. This role ensures efficient, accurate, and compliant processing across all internal accounting workflows while leading a team responsible for the company's financial operations.ResponsibilitiesManage daily operations of AP, AR, Payroll, and Billing teamsMonitor compliance with purchasing and expense policiesSupport tax filings and regulatory reporting as neededEnsure proper cut-off, classification, and approval workflowsMaintain fixed assets subledger – track capital assets, depreciation and disposals and ensure proper recordingOversee month-end close activities related to internal accounting functionsPrepare and review account reconciliations and supporting schedulesMonitor and improve internal processes to increase efficiency and accuracyMaintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policiesPlay a key role integrating growth opportunities into the organization's internal accounting processes. This role is responsible for assessing existing AR and AP workflows, mapping them to current company standards, and executing a smooth transition of all related activities, systems and dataAssist with budgeting and forecasting inputs (even if FP&A owns the model)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support business operationsFacilitate team development through coaching, feedback, and performance reviewsOther duties as assignedDesired Qualifications:Strong leadership and team-building skillsHigh attention to detail with a commitment to accuracyHigh level of integrity and commitment to operational excellenceProactive mindset with the ability to improve processes and controlsComfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting5+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilitiesStrong understanding of AP, AR, payroll, and billing processesExperience with ERP/accounting systems and strong Excel skillsExcellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
