Brand Packaging CoordinatorLidl US is searching for the next Brand Packaging Coordinator (Internal: Analyst – Branding & Packaging) to join our Packaging Management team! The Brand Packaging Coordinator contributes to the efficient workflow of developing packaging artwork, from creative development, information gathering and artwork review, through delivery of final artwork and prepress.Essential Functions:Oversees and manages assigned projects and/or department data, ensuring it meets predetermined contractual or policy requirementsConduct data entry and data management for various department projectsAssist with the development of training materials such as manuals, handbooks, presentations, diagrams, workflows, and project plansReview artwork for adherence to specifications, brand guidelines and supporting documentationCommunicate and coordinate with all levels of Branding & Packaging (BAP) team and cross-functional departments such as Engineering, Label Compliance, and Translation and other internal stakeholders as appropriate; and, when suitable with external parties, to gather information necessary for development of creative briefsOrganize job details, track milestones, and proactively raise questions and solutions as needed, within the packaging development processParticipate in the development of product packaging design from creative briefs through production, with the support of the BAP Manager and Sr. AnalystsLiaise with creative and production agencies, and photographers to coordinate creative developmentReview and comment on artwork, proof against brand guidelines, initiatives, and packaging contentConsolidate feedback from a variety of stakeholders into clear direction for external partners with the support and direction of the BAP ManagerApply critical thinking skills to proactively raise questions and propose solutions, to produce high-quality deliverablesComplete accurate data entry and tracking for all assigned projects and products, and create BAP related reportsCollect and organize data to assist team members with other projects as assigned such as draft process documents, and production notesEnter product and artwork information into Lidl US systems and actively address questionsConduct research relating to design developmentPerform other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailProficient in Google Workspace tools and/or Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of consumer/market trends in the retail/grocery fieldUnderstanding of the implementation of primary and secondary packagingGeneral to intermediate understanding of printing techniquesGeneral to intermediate understanding of packaging components, structures and materialsWorking knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and general design principlesAbility to work independentlyPreferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Detail oriented with strong organization skills and attention to detailStrong project management and time management skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsAdvanced proficiency in Docs/Word, Sheets/Excel, Slides/PowerPoint, and Adobe AcrobatRequired Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience:Bachelor's degree1-3 years of experience in a related fieldIn lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed aboveExperience in or fundamental knowledge of brand building, brand architecture and packaging design in the private label or national brand environmentPhysical Job Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at timesWhat You'll Receive:At Lidl, we know that in order for our people to do their best, they must be at their best.
