The role operates in a full-time capacity, primarily on-site, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, analyzing their medical history and physical capabilities.
- Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, focusing on orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties.
- Use advanced therapeutic techniques and evidence-based methodologies to facilitate patient recovery.
- Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers, empowering them with the knowledge to manage their conditions beyond the clinic.
- Ensure superior customer service by actively engaging with patients, listening to their concerns, and maintaining open lines of communication.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes and overall effectiveness of rehabilitation programs.
- Meet established utilization goals and contribute to the operational success of the clinic.
At Concentra Rehabilitation Center, you will engage with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, pediatric challenges, and competitive sports-related injuries. Your role will be to not only restore physical function but also to inspire confidence and motivation in patients as they navigate their recovery journey.
Qualifications- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the State of Florida is essential.
- Graduation from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)-approved program is a must.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is necessary.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities to establish rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Proficient computer skills for documentation and administrative tasks.
We value at least 2 years of relevant experience in a physical therapy setting, demonstrating effective patient care strategies and successful treatment outcomes. Familiarity with the latest rehabilitation technologies and techniques will be considered advantageous.
Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $110,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
