Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations to develop individualized treatment plans targeting specific recovery goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, tailored exercise programs, and rehabilitation strategies that promote mobility, strength, and function.
• Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring that the care provided meets the evolving needs of each patient.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, self-management techniques, and preventive care strategies to enhance long-term recovery and mobility.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient treatments and progress, adhering to all regulatory, legal, and ethical standards.
• Participate in case conferences and team meetings to collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers on patient care plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population, including but not limited to post-operative patients, individuals recovering from sports injuries, and those with chronic pain conditions. You will encounter a variety of cases that will allow you to apply your skills in innovative ways, contributing to our patients' recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and rehabilitation techniques.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a physical therapy role, ideally within an outpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems for patient documentation.
• Specialization in any relevant therapeutic techniques (e.g., Aquatic Therapy, Dry Needling) is beneficial but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, contingent on experience and qualifications.
