Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injury, surgery, or illness within the rehabilitation setting.
- Develop comprehensive, personalized treatment plans that include modalities such as therapeutic exercises, hands-on therapy, and equipment utilization.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to meet evolving therapeutic goals.
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care delivery.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and self-management strategies.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and established protocols within the facility.
- Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay updated on industry standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contributing insights based on patient assessments and progress to enhance care strategies.
The Piedmont Physical Therapy Center serves a diverse patient population, treating individuals from pediatric to geriatric age groups. Qualifications- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
- Current state licensure in Physical Therapy to practice in Connecticut.

- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and therapy software.
- A patient-centered approach with a dedication to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.
