As a full-time PT in our orthopedic outpatient practice, you will be a vital part of our mission to restore mobility and enhance the quality of life for our patients. Work EnvironmentLocated in the vibrant city of San Diego, our rehabilitation center provides a welcoming and professional setting. You will be working onsite alongside two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA) who share your commitment to patient care. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance while delivering high-quality therapy services to our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient goals and specific needs, developing individualized treatment plans.
- Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and personalized attention during each session.
- Utilize evidence-based interventions and treatment techniques to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility.
- Design and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs that cater to the unique requirements of each patient.
- Document all patient care services accurately and maintain thorough records of treatment plans and progress.
- Collaborate and consult with fellow healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor treatment outcomes, make necessary adjustments to care plans, and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
- Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and preventative measures to improve their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
Our practice serves individuals seeking rehabilitation for a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Qualifications- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
- Exceptional manual therapy skills and experience developing effective exercise protocols.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, especially WebPT.
- No history of disciplinary actions against your professional license, maintaining the highest ethical standards in practice.
- Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
- Demonstrable success in implementing individualized treatment strategies that lead to positive patient outcomes.
- Strong communication skills that facilitate clear collaboration with patients and healthcare professionals.
The Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
