Work Environment

This full-time position is based at our outpatient office in Clifton, NJ, where you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals in a collegial atmosphere. Our facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation technology and tools that enable the delivery of personalized treatment plans. The typical work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' treatment goals and needs, tailoring each plan to fit their individual circumstances.
  • Implement cost-effective treatment strategies designed to enhance mobility and functional independence, using a variety of therapeutic techniques.
  • Develop and adjust comprehensive care plans that utilize evidence-based interventions, ensuring that each patient receives quality, personalized care.
  • Create targeted fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving strength, flexibility, balance, and overall health, aligned with patients' personal objectives.
  • Actively motivate and encourage patients during their rehabilitation journey to help them achieve optimal function and improve overall wellness.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings as needed.
  • Regularly assess and document treatment effectiveness and patient progress, communicating updates with patients to keep them informed and engaged.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Bodywise Physical Therapy, LLC, our patient population primarily consists of individuals dealing with orthopedic issues, including but not limited to musculoskeletal injuries, joint pain, and post-surgical rehabilitation. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will provide specialized care to a diverse group of clients, ranging from athletes to elderly patients, each presenting unique challenges and rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications
  • An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • A strong desire to support patients through their healing journey, demonstrating empathy and understanding of their individual challenges.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, with a proven track record of successfully treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries.
  • Experience in patient care encompassing assessment techniques, treatment planning, and direct hands-on therapy.
  • The ability to connect with patients of diverse backgrounds and personality types, adapting communication and intervention strategies accordingly.
Compensation and Benefits
