Work Environment

Your work environment will be a dynamic rehabilitation facility focused on outpatient services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' mobility and physical function to determine their rehabilitation needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that aim to restore movement, reduce pain, and prevent disabilities.
• Utilize various physical therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to patient needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure cohesive patient management and optimal treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment approaches and self-management strategies to encourage active participation in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse outpatient clientele, ranging from post-surgical patients to those managing chronic pain, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will help facilitate the rehabilitation journeys of adults and seniors who are eager to regain independence and improve mobility.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Master's Degree preferred.
• Possession of a valid Florida Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
