Work Environment

As part of our committed team, you will enjoy regular working hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized rehabilitation care by developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and objectives.
  • Maintain a manageable patient caseload to ensure dedicated attention and effective communication with each individual.
  • Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to apply evidence-based interventions and therapeutic modalities that will enhance patient mobility and functional capacity.
  • Focus on non-surgical alternatives and minimize reliance on medications by employing cost-effective treatment strategies.
  • Craft individualized fitness and wellness programs that address the specific requirements of each patient, promoting an active lifestyle.
  • Continuously assess and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Engage with patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, motivating and encouraging them to adhere to their treatment protocols.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care across all aspects of patient treatment.
  • Maintain precise and thorough documentation using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software for consistent tracking and reporting of patient services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Paramount Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center, our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with patients of all ages, from adolescent athletes to older adults requiring rehabilitative care. Your role will significantly impact their rehabilitation progress, guiding them through exercises and functional activities aimed at restoring their independence.

Qualifications
  • Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida with no history of sanctions or board actions.
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, backed by relevant clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
  • Proficient in multiple manual therapy techniques and exercise program development, with a proven track record of successful patient outcomes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to engage effectively with patients and their families.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for efficient and accurate patient documentation.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying informed about the latest advancements in physical therapy practices.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy within an outpatient setting.
  • Experience working with athletes and individuals recovering from sports injuries would be highly advantageous.
  • Background in implementing fitness and wellness programs that promote overall health and injury prevention.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate efficiently within a multi-disciplinary team.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
