Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' mobility, strength, and functional abilities after orthopedic injuries or surgeries.
  • Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient's goals and specific needs, focusing on restoring function and reducing pain.
  • Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and manual therapy modalities to facilitate healing and improve physical performance.
  • Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
  • Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, wellness strategies, and the healing process.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers, to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Web PT for efficient documentation and management of patient information.
  • Promote a supportive and positive atmosphere by encouraging patient motivation and engagement during therapy sessions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Our patient population includes a wide age range, from young athletes to senior adults, allowing for a dynamic and engaging work environment. Each patient presents unique challenges and opportunities for therapy, making skills in both rehabilitation and patient interaction crucial.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
  • Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Nevada.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining professional standards, including an unblemished record free from sanctions.
  • Expertise in orthopedic outpatient care with a solid foundation in evidence-based physical therapy practices.
  • Exceptional manual therapy skills, coupled with the ability to craft and implement successful exercise regimens.
  • Experience with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, is highly desirable for accurate documentation.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting, demonstrating a track record of positive patient outcomes.
  • Knowledge of the latest physical therapy techniques and methods, continually updated through ongoing education and professional development.
  • Proven ability to manage a varied patient caseload while providing focused and compassionate care.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, continuing education allowances, and generous paid time off.
