Key Responsibilities
  • Administer physician-prescribed physical therapy treatments tailored to individual patient needs, using evidence-based techniques.
  • Document each patient visit comprehensively in accordance with departmental policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Regularly review and assess patient responses to treatments, modifying care plans as necessary to enhance outcomes.
  • Schedule and conduct follow-up evaluations to ascertain progress and provide recommendations to referring physicians regarding further therapy or discontinuation of service.
  • Maintain and care for physical therapy equipment, ensuring it is clean, in good working condition, and readily available for patient use.
  • Oversee the allocation and use of supplies and resources, contributing to departmental budgeting through economical management.
  • Participate in training and mentoring of ancillary staff, including physical therapy assistants, to ensure a high standard of care across the department.
  • Engage in additional duties as assigned, contributing to operational and team development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a wide range of cases, from orthopedic rehabilitation to neurological recovery. Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program, possessing a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (BSPT). A Master's (MSPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree is highly preferred.
  • Current licensing as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida is mandatory.
  • Minimum of one-year relevant clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while efficiently managing patient caseloads.
  • Proficient in using electronic medical record systems and other relevant technology.
  • Current CPR certification and valid driver's license with insurance coverage.
