Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Spring Bay Physiotherapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, which involves measuring strength, flexibility, and balance to inform treatment plans.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment protocols based on individual assessments and clinical evidence, focusing on restoring mobility and alleviating discomfort.
• Utilizing specialized therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy techniques to enhance patient recovery.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create cohesive patient care plans that integrate insights from various health disciplines.
• Providing ongoing education and support to patients and their families, guiding them through Home Exercise Programs (HEP) to reinforce rehabilitation outside of clinic visits.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring that progress and treatment outcomes are thoroughly documented.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a wide array of clients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, or chronic pain syndromes. Our patient demographic ranges from children to elderly individuals, each requiring unique strategies tailored to their specific rehabilitation needs. Your role will involve not only the physical treatment of these patients but also emotional support and education to inspire confidence and independence in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits
