Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with patients, typically managing 1 to 2 patients per hour, which allows for focused attention on personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to assess patient needs, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions that promote recovery.
  • Continuously evaluate and monitor patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment methods in response to their evolving needs.
  • Document patient care and progress accurately using the WebPT electronic health records system while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to create a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on outpatient orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse demographic, ranging from athletes to post-operative patients, and employ tailored therapeutic methods that address their unique physical challenges. Your empathetic approach will help foster healing relationships and create a supportive environment throughout their rehabilitation process.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's or Doctorate in the field is preferred.
  • Possession of an active Physical Therapy license in California or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in physical therapy methodologies, particularly those focused on orthopedic rehabilitation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate patients during their recovery journey.
  • A thorough understanding of the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is required. Experience with orthopedic patients specifically is strongly preferred, as well as familiarity with the WebPT system for documentation and therapy management.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this full-time position is $120,000 to $130,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
