Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our comprehensive rehabilitation facility located in Edison, NJ, where team members are encouraged to share their expertise and learn from one another. With a focus on innovative treatment methodologies, our facility enables Physical Therapists to utilize their clinical judgment and creativity in patient care. You'll enjoy a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed evaluations of each patient's physical capabilities and limitations, utilizing your clinical expertise to formulate personalized treatment plans that align with their individual health goals.
  • Deliver compassionate therapy to geriatric patients, utilizing a combination of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and advanced modalities to optimize their functional abilities.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and track patient progress regularly, adapting treatment protocols as necessary to ensure effective recovery.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, which includes physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, home exercise programs, and preventative strategies to foster independence and promote safety.
  • Implement specialized fall prevention programs tailored to our geriatric patients, ensuring a safe living environment within the assisted living communities.
  • Stay informed of best practices and advancements in the field of physical therapy, participating in ongoing education to enhance your skills and knowledge base.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A graduate of an accredited college or university holding a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Possession of an active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits
