Position Overview

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team. This full-time role is based in Edmonds, Washington, and focuses on delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing rehabilitation in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Our team consists of highly qualified professionals, including two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, who collaborate to ensure that our patients receive comprehensive and effective treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their goals and rehabilitation needs based on orthopedic conditions.
  • Develop individualized care plans using a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques, tailored to each patient's unique situation.
  • Provide hands-on therapy, effectively utilizing your manual therapy and exercise expertise to enhance patient mobility and function.
  • Monitor patient progress, consistently documenting treatment sessions and communicating updates with the healthcare team.
  • Facilitate educational sessions for patients on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, and wellness promotion.
  • Reduce reliance on medications through effective rehabilitation strategies, emphasizing alternatives to surgical intervention when appropriate.
  • Motivate patients during their therapy sessions, celebrating milestones and reinforcing positive health behaviors.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, consulting with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring efficient and effective treatment delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily engage with patients dealing with a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. Your focus will be on empowering each patient to achieve their personal best through tailored therapy sessions that prioritize their individual goals and recovery benchmarks.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification in Physical Therapy.
  • A valid Washington State Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions against it.
  • Solid manual therapy skills and proficiency in exercise prescription.
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software systems, specifically WebPT.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
  • Experience developing and implementing specialized fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
