Thera Viva Mobility is looking for a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at our rehabilitation facility located in Fort Worth, Texas. This full-time position is ideal for a skilled professional who is eager to provide top-notch patient care and contribute positively to the recovery journey of our clients. As a pivotal member of our rehabilitation team, you will create and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall functionality.

Work EnvironmentOur rehabilitation facility is staffed with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists, all collaborating to optimize patient care. In this onsite role, you will work in a supportive environment designed to foster team collaboration and continuous improvement. Operating primarily from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, occasional flexibility may be required to accommodate patient needs, ensuring that we remain responsive to the evolving challenges faced by our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, evaluate, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on enhancing mobility and physical strength.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities designed to alleviate pain and promote overall physical wellness.
- Educate patients on proper body mechanics and exercise techniques, empowering them to engage in home exercise programs that facilitate recovery.
- Administer modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy as part of the treatment protocol.
- Maintain detailed documentation of each patient's progress, including vital metrics such as range of motion and functional improvement.
- Prepare treatment areas, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are organized and easily accessible for therapy sessions.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care effectively and drive optimal therapeutic outcomes.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a motivating and positive atmosphere.
- Adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respecting their rights and privacy.
We cater to a diverse patient population, ranging from children engaging in pediatric rehabilitation to older adults requiring geriatric rehabilitation. Patients may present with various conditions, including post-surgical recovery and neurological disorders, all demanding a tailored approach to their unique circumstances. Your role will significantly impact recovery outcomes, assisting individuals in achieving greater independence and improved quality of life.
Qualifications- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- A valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting is required.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate and motivate patients.
- Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
- Experience working in a rehabilitation facility or similar healthcare environment strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and technologies relevant to physical therapy practice.
- Background in specialized rehabilitative services such as sports or pediatric therapy is a plus.
The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
