Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will engage in a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Conducting thorough Physical Therapy evaluations for children and adults to assess their physical capabilities and therapeutic needs.
  • Developing and executing individualized treatment plans that align with each patient's recovery goals while adapting strategies based on ongoing assessments.
  • Regularly reassessing clinical signs and symptoms to gauge the effectiveness of interventions and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintaining meticulous documentation including SOAP notes, progress summaries, and care plans in our electronic health record system in a timely manner.
  • Educating patients and their families about the recovery process, necessary exercises, and the challenges they may encounter.
  • Meeting minimum utilization goals and contributing to overarching business objectives through impactful patient care.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary peers to enhance service delivery for clients receiving multiple therapy forms.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Possess a Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Maintain a current and unrestricted license to practice physical therapy issued by the Board of Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
  • Be willing and able to conduct physical therapy evaluations and provide treatments both in-person and via telehealth, as clinically appropriate.
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to work with a broad range of patients, appreciating the value of diversity across age, ethnicity, and background.
  • Display flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, accommodating changes in treatment plans as necessary.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in outpatient settings, particularly in therapy-focused treatment environments.

Compensation and Benefits
