Work Environment

As a member of our Sarasota facility, you will work in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation setting equipped with the latest technology and resources to support patient recovery. Your full-time schedule will typically run from Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their individual needs and developing tailored treatment plans based on their conditions.
  • Implement and monitor effective therapeutic interventions designed to improve patients' physical functionality, mobility, and quality of life.
  • Engage directly with patients to demonstrate and guide them through necessary therapeutic exercises and interventions.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive patient care and consistently review treatment protocols based on patient progress.
  • Educate patients and their caregivers about treatment goals, techniques, and exercises, building their understanding and involvement in the recovery process.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, tracking patient progress and outcomes.
  • Achieve minimum utilization goals and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the practice by enhancing patient care and satisfaction.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a varied patient population that includes orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Your role will encompass assessing and treating patients at different recovery stages, allowing you to apply your specialized skills among diverse clinical scenarios. Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (APTA or CAPTE-approved).
  • Current State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Florida.
  • Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively connect with patients and their families.
  • Proficient in computer and word processing skills to maintain patient records and generate reports.
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with patients, demonstrating empathy and dedication to their health and wellbeing.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
