Position Overview

Well Guard Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist specializing in orthopedic care to join our team in Brandon, Florida. This full-time position will focus on providing high-quality rehabilitation services to our clients, allowing them to regain movement and enhance their quality of life. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will work directly with patients to develop tailored treatment plans, conduct assessments, and implement therapeutic exercises aimed at helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Work Environment

This position will be primarily onsite in our modern rehabilitation facility in Brandon, Florida. Our clinic offers a collaborative and supportive environment where you will interact closely with patients and health care team members. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while dedicating your efforts to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations, identifying individual goals for recovery.
• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating a wide range of therapeutic techniques to promote motion and mobility.
• Administer effective physical therapy interventions to restore functional mobility and strength in patients.
• Evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Motivate and guide patients through exercises designed to enhance strength, flexibility, and coordination, ensuring they remain engaged and committed to their recovery journey.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress within our electronic medical record (EMR) system, such as WebPT.
• Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, ensuring all patient needs are met.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Our patients range from athletes seeking to return to peak performance to older adults looking to improve their everyday mobility. Your role will be crucial in empowering them to achieve their personal best and promoting a healthier lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Current and valid Florida Physical Therapist License, with no board actions or disciplinary actions on record.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or ability to obtain one prior to employment.
• Excellent manual therapy skills and proficiency in exercise prescription.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
• Capable of working independently while also collaborating as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working within an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Knowledge of advanced rehabilitative practices and updated therapeutic methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a lucrative salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and holiday pay.
