Position Overview

Work Environment

Located in the welcoming city of Sarasota, Florida, our rehabilitation center provides a dynamic and state-of-the-art facility focused on patient-centered therapies. As an onsite practitioner, you will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, engaging directly with your patients in a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence in treatment methodologies. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to design personalized treatment plans addressing their specific needs.
  • Utilize a diverse array of therapeutic techniques and modalities to implement effective treatment programs, ensuring continuity of care that aligns with physicians' orders.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of customer service, creating a welcoming environment for patients and their families.
  • Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to develop and achieve patient-centered goals, leveraging evidence-based practices to maximize recovery potential.
  • Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment plans, rehabilitation techniques, and preventative measures to encourage sustained health improvements.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes meticulously while meeting clinical productivity standards.
  • Engage in community outreach and educational programs to promote health and wellness initiatives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population comprising orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. By understanding and addressing the unique circumstances of each patient, you will help them navigate their recovery journeys and achieve their individual functional goals.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
  • Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships with patients and their families.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist is required, we value any advanced certifications or specialized training in areas such as orthopedics, pediatrics, or neurology. Compensation and Benefits
