Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our Englewood rehabilitation facility, which offers a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. Working closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals, you will engage in multidisciplinary rounds, sharing insights and strategies that promote comprehensive patient care. The hours for this position are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a balanced work schedule conducive to a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations of each resident's physical abilities and limitations. Utilize assessment tools to create tailored care plans that address specific rehabilitation goals and enhance recovery.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Administer evidence-based therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, and neuromuscular re-education, to improve patients' mobility, reduce pain, and increase independence.
• Patient and Family Education: Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques, exercises, and lifestyle modifications essential for maintaining progress after therapy sessions.
• Documentation: Ensure meticulous and timely documentation of all patient interactions and treatment protocols using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to guarantee compliance and continuity of care.
• Ongoing Learning: Participate in professional development activities and stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices to enhance treatment methods and patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a varied group of patients, ranging from post-operative recovery individuals to those with chronic pain or neurological conditions. Your ability to adapt treatment plans based on each resident's unique situation and progress will be critical in achieving optimal rehabilitation outcomes. Understanding the specific challenges faced by the Englewood community will further enhance your ability to address patients' needs effectively.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid New Jersey State Physical Therapist License in good standing.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience preferred, although new graduates with a strong academic foundation are welcome to apply.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and a patient-centered approach.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT, will be advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation facility setting is preferred but not required.
• Previous exposure to a variety of therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation programs.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous salary package, we provide a comprehensive benefits program that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, participation in a 401(k) plan with employer contributions, and 2 to 3 weeks of paid time off annually to support your well-being.
