Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of each resident's physical capabilities and needs to develop targeted treatment protocols.
• Design, implement, and monitor tailored treatment plans aimed at enhancing strength, mobility, and overall functional independence.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and various modalities to effectively address physical impairments.
• Regularly assess progress and adjust therapy plans as required to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to resident care and recovery.
• Provide education and training for residents and their families on how to maintain and improve physical health through home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications.
• Adhere to all applicable state and federal regulations and maintain high professional standards in therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses primarily on geriatric residents who may be recovering from surgeries, strokes, or chronic conditions requiring specialized rehabilitation services. You will play a pivotal role in helping these individuals regain their independence and improve their quality of life through rehabilitative care tailored to their specific needs. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing their mobility and functional capabilities in everyday tasks.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (Master's or Doctorate).

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges between $120,000 and $130,000 annually, reflective of your expertise and dedication.
