Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient evaluations by reviewing medical histories, performing thorough assessments, and documenting findings. Develop individualized treatment plans that align with each patient's specific needs and goals.
  • Clearly communicate evaluation outcomes and treatment plans to patients and their families, ensuring they are engaged in the goal-setting process.
  • Implement treatment protocols effectively, adjusting approaches based on patient response and emerging healthcare trends.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to adapt care plans as necessary, recognizing any significant changes in a patient's health status.
  • Handle discharge planning by preparing patients for transition out of therapy, ensuring that follow-up care is properly arranged.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of patient care activities, including timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Exhibit exceptional time management skills by meeting productivity targets, keeping an organized patient schedule, and actively participating in marketing initiatives for community outreach.
  • Engage in the continual professional development of yourself and the organization by pursuing further education and the opportunity to mentor students or new hires.
  • Contribute to a high-quality patient experience by demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in care delivery.
  • Actively participate in initiatives aimed at improving access to care, understanding site-specific data, and addressing barriers to service provision.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse population of patients, each with unique rehabilitation needs, ranging from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management. You will collaborate closely with patients to tailor therapy solutions that support their journey to physical recovery and overall wellbeing.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
  • A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and patient cases.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist is preferred, but new graduates with strong educational backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in outpatient settings or specialized rehabilitation is advantageous.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and improving professional skills through workshops or seminars.
Compensation and Benefits
