Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite within a home care setting, providing a unique opportunity to engage directly with patients in their own environments. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered practices and involves close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, making sure that each patient's needs are met holistically. Operating from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, we offer a structured yet flexible schedule that respects work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans for each patient, considering their specific orthopedic needs and health history.
• Work closely with patients' physicians to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care.
• Maintain precise daily records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Exercise independent clinical judgment and expertise to implement effective treatment approaches that may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Regularly assess and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Remain informed about and comply with all federal and state physical therapy regulations to maintain a high standard of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses primarily on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with diverse populations that may also include geriatric clients, aiming to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence through tailored therapy interventions.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Two (2) years of hands-on experience in orthopedic physical therapy, preferably in home care or outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic assessment techniques, therapeutic modalities, and patient care planning.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to facilitate patient interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic documentation and EMR systems is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in orthopedic rehabilitation is a plus.
• Past work experience within interdisciplinary care teams enhances the quality of patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000, in addition to performance bonuses.
