Work EnvironmentWorking onsite at our rehabilitation center in North Las Vegas, you will find an encouraging and collaborative atmosphere where team dynamics thrive. Our physical therapy facility is designed with patient comfort in mind, featuring customized therapy rooms and the latest rehabilitation technology. You will have a consistent caseload Monday through Friday, allowing for predictable scheduling and a supportive work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify movement dysfunctions and establish individualized treatment goals.
- Implement and deliver therapy using a combination of manual techniques, therapeutic modalities, and innovative clinical tools.
- Guide and educate patients through evidence-based exercise regimens to enhance their strength and mobility.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and fellow therapists, to continuously evaluate and adjust patient care plans.
- Document patient progress systematically to ensure transparent communication among care providers and adherence to best practices.
Our patient population primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will engage with a diverse group of patients, ranging from young athletes to seniors, all seeking rehabilitation services to improve their quality of life. Your role will be pivotal in helping these individuals regain independence and functionality.
Qualifications- A current Nevada Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is a minimum requirement; however, candidates with a Master's degree or higher from an accredited program are preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
- At least two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is ideal.
- Familiarity with current trends in rehabilitation techniques and exercise prescription.
- Experience using electronic health record systems for efficient documentation and patient tracking.
