Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients suffering from orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, considering their unique histories and physical capabilities.
  • Design and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility, strength, and overall function, specifically targeting areas of injury or dysfunction.
  • Utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and evidence-based rehabilitation techniques to enhance recovery and promote long-term wellness.
  • Provide specialized care and guidance during post-operative rehabilitation, ensuring that patients safely return to their pre-injury activity levels.
  • Educate and empower patients through comprehensive instruction on injury prevention strategies, optimal movement mechanics, and personalized home exercise programs.
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants, and an interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records along with progress notes within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating effective communication.
  • Continuously monitor and assess patient progress, adapting treatment plans based on measurable outcomes and feedback.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients we serve primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, patients with acute or chronic musculoskeletal injuries, and active individuals seeking rehabilitation for sports-related conditions. Our focus on personalized care ensures that each patient receives the attention and expertise necessary for optimal recovery.

Qualifications
  • An active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Nevada is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; however, a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or a Master's in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic or outpatient physical therapy settings.
  • Demonstrated passion for providing patient-centered care and effective rehabilitation.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience specifically in orthopedic rehabilitation is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with computerized EMR systems to support efficient patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits
