Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite within our well-appointed rehabilitation facility in West Palm Beach, FL. You will engage with both new and ongoing patients in a clinical setting designed for optimal therapeutic outcomes. Our environment fosters collaboration among staff and allows for meaningful interactions with patients through one-on-one therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations, identifying specific goals and needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques and exercises.
• Administer therapy interventions and modifications to improve patients' mobility and alleviate pain.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting therapeutic approaches as needed to optimize results.
• Educate patients on their conditions, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients by promoting a positive rehabilitation experience.
• Address patients' concerns and tailor care plans that promote functional independence and quality of life.
• Regularly use electronic medical record software, such as WebPT, for documentation and tracking patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will focus on outpatient orthopedic patients, many of whom seek treatment for post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Our patients range from athletes looking to return to peak performance to elderly individuals aiming to regain independence. You will work closely with individuals at various stages of recovery, helping them set realistic goals and facilitating their path to improved health.

Qualifications

• Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current and active Florida Physical Therapist License.
• Unblemished license, free from board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Possession or eligibility for a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number before employment begins.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and exercise prescription capabilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR software, particularly WebPT, enhancing documentation and workflow efficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to a robust salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holiday pay. A generous sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is also available.
