Work Environment

You will engage in 40-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life routine. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' conditions upon referral from physicians, identifying their specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that leverage evidence-based interventions tailored to each patient's recovery trajectory.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, enhancing the overall efficiency of the clinic while ensuring patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team composed of physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Provide guided therapeutic interventions within patients' homes, ensuring that care aligns with prescribed treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and their caregivers on effective therapeutic practices, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Achieve established benchmarks for service utilization while aligning with the clinic's broader operational objectives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass a diverse array of patients across orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine backgrounds, ensuring comprehensive care that caters to varied injury profiles and rehabilitation needs. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (APTA or CAPTE).
  • Current and valid state license in Physical Therapy, allowing you to practice in New York.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, alongside proficiency in computer applications relevant to patient management and documentation.
  • A strong desire to engage with the community and cultivate lasting relationships with patients.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, prior experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings or familiarity with diverse patient populations will be advantageous. A background in employing evidence-based treatment protocols and a history of exceeding patient functional goals will set candidates apart.

Compensation and Benefits
