Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed assessments of patients' functional abilities to establish baseline capabilities and treatment goals.
  • Develop individual care plans incorporating a variety of therapeutic techniques and strategies aimed at optimizing motion and mobility.
  • Implement treatment interventions including therapeutic exercises, utilization of physical modalities, and patient education to foster recovery.
  • Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations and modify treatment strategies when necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
  • Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
  • Engage and motivate patients throughout their recovery process, inspiring them to take ownership of their health and wellness journey.
  • Educate patients on preventative care and healthy lifestyle choices to enhance their overall well-being.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this position is on treating patients with orthopedic injuries and conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. You will work with a diverse population, tailoring interventions to meet the specific needs of each individual, whether they are athletes looking to return to play or older adults seeking to maintain their independence.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program.
  • Current New Jersey Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Genuine interest in and enthusiasm for working with orthopedic patients.
  • Proficiency in evaluating and developing treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, specifically with orthopedic populations.
  • Experience using therapeutic modalities and exercise prescription to address patients' functional limitations.

Compensation and Benefits
