Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations that encompass the review of patient history, implementing specific assessments, and formulating comprehensive treatment plans based on findings.
  • Educate patients and their families about evaluation results, collaborating on goal setting to ensure alignment with patient wishes and expectations.
  • Implement treatment protocols with proficiency, continually adapting techniques to meet the evolving needs of patients and the healthcare landscape.
  • Work in partnership with other healthcare professionals to consult on case management when necessary, documenting any significant changes in the patient's condition that may require revisiting treatment plans.
  • Manage discharge planning effectively, ensuring proper follow-up care is established. Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, creating a clear trajectory of care through precise documentation of evaluations, treatment goals, and progress.
  • Exhibit strong time management while meeting productivity benchmarks, ensuring that schedules are managed efficiently and meetings are attended punctually.
  • Play a crucial role in marketing initiatives to enhance community awareness of our services, participating actively in outreach programs.
  • Promote continuous professional development through engagement in educational courses, mentoring staff and students, and contributing to departmental projects.
  • Enhance patient accessibility and satisfaction by identifying barriers and actively working towards their removal in line with our facility's strategic initiatives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals recovering from surgery, chronic pains, athletic injuries, and post-rehabilitation care. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for patients by tailoring rehabilitation programs that meet their unique needs.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
  • A valid DPT license in the State of Florida.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred, we are open to candidates who demonstrate strong clinical skills and a willingness to learn. Candidates with previous experience in outpatient settings or specific modalities will be particularly valuable.
