Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility in Jersey City, known for its collaborative and caring atmosphere. You will be joining a small, dedicated team of experienced professionals consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our facility promotes teamwork and open communication, ensuring that every staff member is equipped to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a manageable caseload, with one patient per hour, ensuring focused and effective therapy.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities to improve patient outcomes.
• Utilize our electronic medical record (EMR) system, specifically WebPT, to document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to enhance efficacy and address any emerging needs.
• Educate patients about their conditions and motivate them to participate actively in their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within our organization to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Encourage lifestyle changes that foster improved strength, flexibility, and overall wellness.
• Maintain meticulous records of all patient treatments and interactions in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• A valid state license in New Jersey to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with using EMR systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in working with a variety of musculoskeletal disorders.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
